September 29 / It is with regret that I announce the closing of air space. I've simply adored working on this project since first deciding to embark on it on January 1, 2007. Receiving artwork, reading and writing statements, designing the issues, and exchanging emails with some of you whom I've gotten to know has been just great. I know I say this every time but thank you all for your support and kind words and of course, participation. The reason behind this decision is that I don't think I can't put into this effort all that I would like to. Quite honestly, I think the zine's run its course. It was great while it lasted and perhaps air space will be reincarnated as something entirely new some day. I'm a restless creature and that is why air space began and it is now why it will also end. Many zines I know have disappeared without saying a word, but here they are, my reasons. .......... Best, Clare.. (stay in touch!)

July 29 / Issue Six is live (whew!) and I sincerely apologize for the delay. I'd been toying with the idea of the zine going on an indefinite hiatus as I experience some changes in my life, but decided instead that air space will undergo a little revamping in the coming months... so any inconsistencies in deadlines or the appearance of new issues will be rectified.

As well, the call for submissions for the Seventh Issue is on, with the deadline set for October 31st, 2008! Thanks always for your support and see you in the Fall as we come back bigger and hopefully better!
